The track is all installed, almost. It’s 96% installed. The only thing left is the final turnout and a little bit of track surrounding it. It is the reversing section for turning locomotives. The gaps will need to be cut a little differently and an auto-reverser attached. I will use a Tam Valley Dual Frog Juicer. There has been a lot of work between the last post and this one. I started a Facebook page Bronx Terminal by Jim Wanlass to quickly upload photos of the module as I take them. That way I can get some feedback and keep others updated. This website will be more complete but for those wanting quick updates I think that will be a good reference.
All the track that is installed is operational and it is fun to finally see trains able to run as they are meant to. I have a few other things I’d like to get finished before the next show, including that last bit of track. I’m thinking how I will finish (ballast, dirt, clay and paint) the track. I like how that first bit of yard track looks in real life but it doesn’t photograph particularly well.
